About the Limestone District School Board
The Limestone District School Board (LDSB) is situated on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabek and Haudenosaunee. The LDSB is the region's only fully inclusive school board. Limestone schools serve more than 20,500 students in 55 schools and five alternative education centres covering a geographic area of 7,719 square kilometres across the City of Kingston, the Townships of Central Frontenac, North Frontenac, South Frontenac, Addington Highlands, Loyalist, Stone Mills, the Frontenac Islands and the Town of Greater Napanee.
About this position
Each summer, the Limestone District School Board offers a three week summer intervention program for students entering Grades 1-4. In 2026, the Elementary Summer Literacy & Math Program (formerly Read-A-Lot) will provide daily whole-class and small group instruction in both literacy and mathematics, delivered by instructors and supported by tutors. The 2026 Summer Literacy & Math Program will be offered July 6 to 24, 2026 at three sites. Mandatory training will take place June 29 and 30.
