Limestone schools serve more than 20,500 students in 55 schools and five alternative education centres covering a geographic area of 7,719 square kilometres across the City of Kingston, the Townships of Central Frontenac, North Frontenac, South Frontenac, Addington Highlands, Loyalist, Stone Mills, the Frontenac Islands and the Town of Greater Napanee.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Ontario Curriculum in a variety of subject areas for French Immersion and delivering FSL curriculum for Core French
  • French as a Second Language Qualification or willingness to obtain if successful in French Teacher process
  • Knowledge and understanding of a variety of assessment strategies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resilience, optimism, and self-efficacy

  • Resume detailing your skills and experience.
  • A maximum 2-minute video clip or  cover letter (in French) that represents how you see yourself in Limestone. If you choose to submit a video, please create your video clip using YouTube and embed the link to your video clip in your resume under your name.
  • OCT registration link (please provide your number even if you are not yet in good standing).
  • All summative Practicum Teacher Reports (from 2025-2026 Faculty of Education graduates).
Internationally trained educators with equivalent international experience, who have a current Ontario Certificate of Qualification are encouraged and invited to apply.

Interviews

Interviews will take place Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Candidates will participate in a group interview process and will be advised at time of contact whether interviews will take place in-person or virtually. Shortlisted candidates will be requested to submit written consent to contact three professional referees, including current and prior supervisors.
